Grass Valley has just finished their transition from successful V-series and S-series of K-Frame into a full-raster 4K video switcher engine and right there with 2 options in terms of size.
The new K-Frame XP Compact supports up to 80x40 I/O (regardless of whether signals are HD, 3G or 4K) and up to 6 M/Es, whereas the larger brother XP Standard features up to 192x96 I/O and 9 M/Es.
Both of the new frames support SDI, IP or mixed I/O's, single-stream 4K IP, 6 full keyers with 2D DPM per M/E, up to 16 floating 3D iDPMs and any control surface from the K-frame group: Kayenne, Karrera, KSP or Korona.
Go ahead and read more about the GV K-Frame XP frames including their handy UltraMatch up-down conversion capabilities or read more about Kayenne, Karrera and Korona control surfaces.
